Kristina & Kevin
“Aside from it being our hometown, we both feel a September night in Newport is one of the best things in the world. Perfectly crisp and temperate weather with sunsets galore.”
Kristina Ebbitt & Kevin Kosinski on September 23, 2016

It took 10 years for Kristina Ebbitt and Kevin Kosinski, high school classmates from Middletown, to realize that they would be each other’s soul mates forever. In calculus Kristina would ask for the answers off of his straight-A papers, and on one Halloween Kevin dressed up as a pirate and stole her heart. Years later after a sunset cocktail on the rooftop of the Vanderbilt Grace Hotel they went to their first date spot, The Lobster Bar, where Kevin popped the question. -GM
Unique Venues
The groom’s mother and bride’s frequent visits to Jane Pickens Theater were just one of the reasons why they decided on such a different venue. A bar, popcorn, and place for guests socialize before the ceremony were all an added bonus. “I really wanted to create a special guest experience,” says the bride. A west facing backyard reception included beautiful and free entertainment for their guests- a gorgeous sunset!
Ride Off Into The Sunset
After the Jane Pickens Theater ceremony Kristina and Kevin were taken to the reception in a vintage Bronco convertible. “It was a last minute decision to ditch the top, encouraged by our seasoned driver Will.” With their seats facing backwards, the newlyweds were able to wave to the cliff walkers and enjoy a sunny, seaside ride all the way to the Middletown countryside.
Daring Decorations
The spunky and rustic theme included nods to cinema and circus lovers alike with cotton-candy bag favors, bistro lights and a fire-spinner all mixed in. Guests could make their own memories at a quirky selfie station with red ruffled parasols and other circus décor for props.
Where Are They Now
Instead of an official honeymoon, this handy couple renovated a portion of their house in Middletown. Now Kevin works as a Newport Fire Fighter while Kristina currently operates a vacation rental.
