“We loved the space and the idea of being married on center court with the clock tower behind us.”

It was all business in 2010 for Rhode Island native Brad Pelletier and Thomas Hammond, who hails from New Jersey, when they first met at a professional lunch. But soon after, their friendship grew into something more. They fell in love and officially “put a ring on it” at the end of the finish line of Tough Mudder Mud Run in Mt. Snow, VT. The active couple immediately began planning a rustic chic fete with family and friends to celebrate their nuptials at the International Tennis Hall of Fame. And the final score? Love-love, of course! –TS

Falling in Love

The autumn-kissed wedding scene was elegantly adorned with flower-filled mason jars sitting atop tree stump accent tables, burlap tablecloths, lanterns, mums and pumpkins completing the theme. The color scheme of blues and oranges was reflected in the grooms’ and best men’s attire, including colorful bow ties and boutonnières.

Quite a Racquet

The couple posed with wooden racquets that were inscribed with “Brad and Thom, Tennis Hall of Fame, 10-11-15.” They also incorporated the clock as a central theme by setting different times on various family clocks and using them as the table numbers.

The Sweetest Thing

After dancing to their first song, “The Sweetest Thing,” the couple spread the love with more sugar-coated details. Serving as both a décor piece and party gift, guests received a packaged S’more kit at each place setting then were invited to a decorate-your-own cupcake buffet as well as a well-stocked candy bar, complete with a chalkboard sign that read “Love is sweet, please take a treat.”

Where Are They Now?

After a wild honeymoon on safari in South Africa, the couple returned to their home in Providence where Brad is a law partner at Pelletier, Marshall & Clark and Thomas is an agent with Coleman Realtors.
